Charles Lamar Mack was born to Richard Mack and Clara Johnson September 6, 1947, at Robert B. Green Hospital, San Antonio, TX.  Both parents preceded him in death.  He was baptized in his early years at Friendship Baptist Church, San Antonio, TX.  Charles graduated from Edgewood High School San Antonio. TX in 1964 and immediately attended St. Phillips College San Antonio, TX.  He graduated from there in 1966 with an associate degree in government....

Elizabeth Ann (nee Hall) Ledford was born on May 26, 1944, in Newark, NJ. She was the 4th of 6 children born to the late Johnnie M. and Vestella Hall. This family would remain a very close and loving unit throughout their lives.
